Working Women of Florida Announces Speakers for State Conference on Sept. 8-9
TAMPA, FL (July 15, 2016) – Working Women of Florida announces its first round of speakers for its fourth annual Working Women State Conference, to be held Sept. 8-9, 2016, at The Straz Center, Tampa.
More than 300 professional women and entrepreneurs from the area will gain leadership advice, career guidance, and empowerment from leading women speakers from around the country in this two-day conference designed specifically to motivate, educate and inspire. The event will bring authentic business building where women can connect, collaborate and create while learning real-world strategies.
“The speakers will be invaluable on many levels and will resonate with the working women and entrepreneurs at the conference,” said conference organizer and CEO and Founder of Working Women of Tampa Bay, Jessica Rivelli.
“Ultimately, this program is about the women attending – connecting, moving their vision forward and finding real solutions to the challenges they as working women face every day,” said Rivelli. This is the fourth year for the conference and the seventh year of rapid growth for her group, which harnesses the collective power of these women’s talent, energy and vision.
The current line-up includes:

The conference will begin Thursday night with registration at the Straz Center and a networking reception at Maestro’s from 6-9 p.m. The conference will be held Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ferguson Hall.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Guild North Pinellas to Hold Luncheon, Dillard’s Fashion Show, April 24
The event will include a spring fashion show by Dillard’s, a silent auction, lunch and a cash bar.
Proceeds will benefit All Children’s Hospital Nurses of Excellence Program and a new state-of-the art ambulance for Transport Services.

For the past 66 years, All Children’s Hospital Guilds – from St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Beach, Seminole/Largo, Sarasota/Manatee, Tampa, Brandon and North Pinellas – have raised more than $11 million for the hospital. This hardworking, passionate volunteer group of men and women has grown to more than 400 members and nine branches spanning over four counties.
The mission is to advocate, volunteer and fundraise for the children and families Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

Tin Drum is based out of Atlanta and has 12 cafes there. The Oldsmar location is the first cafe to be introduced in Florida, with the hope of several more in the upcoming years.
We had a great #TampaBayTuesday #tweetup today with the gals at Tampa Bay Bloggers! Eight of the bloggers were able to come out today to sample the new menu to celebrate #ChineseNewYear at Tin Drum Asia Cafe in Oldsmar, FL. This cafe is the first location in Florida, the 12th to be opened in the franchise organization. Tin Drum was started in Atlanta, GA.
